RON HANSEN was born and raised in Montana. He began his career as a machinist in 1986 at American Dental in Missoula, MT. On his birthday, in 2006, Ron ran his first part on his own Star CNC machine; this was the beginning of Double Eagle Machining.
For the first five years of D.E.M., Ron ran the business on his own until an uptick in orders pushed him into hiring his Son-in-Law, and then his youngest Daughter. Today, the company is still family owned-and-operated.
The company has upgraded over the years and now runs three Swiss-type, Star CNC screw machines, with a minimum diameter of .047", and a maximum of .513". The machines are very capable at cross-drilling, cross-tapping, milling, end-working, and turning; all machines have pick-off spindles for pipless parts.
